Brief Synopsis of Our Home!

Hello all!  I am a 37 year old mother of 3 or 6, which ever way you want to view it.  I have 2 boys (ages 3 and 8) and a daughter (age 11).  Additionally, my SO (significant other, because I feel the term "boyfriend" is rather juvenile) has 2 boys (ages 5 and 9) and a daughter (age 13).

WOW!!  I must add that we so love our combined family!

Yes, our children are our lives and we are learning how to be the "new modern family".  Did you know that over 50% of US families are remarried or re-coupled (US Bureau of Census)?

I am starting this blog to give a peek into our life and how we handle the fun times, difficult times, planning, finances, discipline, cooking, etc...
